Electronic Commerce Associations [Associations usually charge for much of the information they provide or require membership.]	Data Interchange Standards Association (DISA)   DISA is a not-for-profit organization that supports the development and use of electronic data interchange standards in electronic commerce.
	Internet & Telecoms Convergence Consortium (ITC)   The Internet & Telecoms Convergence Consortium (ITC) was formerly known as the Internet Telephony Consortium and is affiliated with MIT. The ITC consists of "member firms and selected academics who collaborate on research into technical, economic, strategic and policy issues that arise from the convergence of telecommunications and the Internet." At this site you will find information about events, abstracts of current research, downloadable research papers and publications going back to 1992 (including student theses), and links to other telephony resources.
Electronic Commerce Government links	Joint Electronic Commerce Program Office   The Secretary of Defense "Defense Reform Initiatives" established the Joint Electronic Commerce Program Office (JECPO) as a DoD focal point to accelerate the integration of electronic commerce techniques into DoD operations. This site provides a resource for learning about JECPO projects and initiatives, and shows ways to apply EC techniques. There is information about JECPO programs, EC publications, and other resources.
	World Intellectual Property Organization   The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is an intergovernmental organization with headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland and is one of 16 agencies of the United Nations system of organizations. WIPO is responsible for the promotion of the protection of intellectual property throughout the world through cooperation among States, and for the administration of various multilateral treaties dealing with the legal and administrative aspects of intellectual property (industrial property and copyright). Several WIPO programs concern electronic commerce, including the WIPO Internet domain name process, Regional consultation meetings and international conference on intellectual property and electronic commerce, WIPO Copyright Treaty and the WIPO Performances and Phonograms Treaty. 	Center for Research in Electronic Commerce   CREC, located at the Silicon Hills of Austin, is a research center in electronic commerce, digital economy and information technology.
	e-Business at MIT   MIT's website offers a lot of information about E-Commerce, including a link to the business school's graduate program on Electronic Commerce and Marketing. 	ebusiness forum.com   A website from Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU. Divided into 5 sections, some of which are fee based, the doing business in... section (which is free), provides reliable, authoritative country by country market analysis. Includes information on laws and regulations, taxation, infrastructure and other key issues as they related to ebusiness.

	The WWW Virtual Library: Electronic Commerce Page   The WWW Virtual Library is arranged by subject. It includes an Electronic Commerce collection. The Virtual Library is run by a collection of volunteers who are subject matter experts.
